SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA

The Light Switches played this show at Amnesia on this date. The first song of the set I played a tape recording from 1995 and we wore ghost and witch outfits. There were two video documentations of this show. One was made with a camera that people in the audience passed around. The other was made with a camera on a tripod that Tom Edler set up. I will eventually put up the rest of the footage if I don’t go broke being a gardener, or maybe if I go broke being a gardener that will be the secret to me putting the rest of the footage up because then I will move to a cabin in Maine and become a full time artist and archivist. I’ll update this text when we figure that one out. I want to make new music and videos but I also don’t want to just let all this footage die with old hard drives. Does anyone want to make a documentary about the music scene in San Francisco in the period between 2010 and 2020? Not that you should but I have a pretty well organized set of footage. One problem is that the majority of the footage is of my band and I’ve a history of being anti social and I know that isn’t ideal. I’m working on it. Ok. That’s what I wrote down today on Aug 11, 2026 as I aim to take action and come back to life. Thank you.
