“I’M A JESUS STUNTMAN DOUBLE” I can’t remember how long it’s been since I made up a new song properly. It’s been a long time for sure. Something like seven years. I’ve been stuck and captured with some problems. Right now we’re working really hard on getting out of them even though it looks grim like a jail break with a tall wall. This is a new song that just occurred to me when it got dark out and I borrowed my friend’s guitar and I never have an acoustic guitar. The day before my old friend from Baltimore said on the phone “Jesus’s Stuntman Double” to me and I thought it was a funny concept. Also, I’ve been having a rough time emotionally or whatever that’s called so I just really fast wrote down the words I was thinking to the cord progression the guitar made automatically to a melody that sounds country and I don’t know where it came from.
