SEPT 16, 2019 // DICTIONARY SNIPPET (VERSION II, PROTOOLS DEMO)

-Originally created in Mexico in the winter of 2017 by creating a loop of a field recording of Eric playing the guitar in Amsterdam in the summer of 2011.
-Over that looped sample I programmed a beat using simple stock sounds that came with protools. An organ, some bottled drums, and percussion.
-I used pitch shifting to alter the looped part slightly so I could create B and C sections.
-I wrote words based on what was going on that day in my life in the little beach town I was living in.

-I think this one was always strong and continues to be. It took a long time to get a record of it up here because I made it before I started keeping track. The songs that have a million versions and are up here a lot and are still unfinished and seem not as good…I think there’s some lessons in there.
