I presently feel exhausted and my mental faculties dimmed. I feel surrounded, and a desire to run to a quieter, less populated environment. I will submit this version and see what the rest of The Light Switches thinks about the vocal performance. I think the take here, recorded with the Solo/610 pre-amp, beats the previous ones in terms of the honesty of the performance, and the quality of the recording. I definitely really like the organ solo in this version. Also, the use of a “suitcase” piano, instead of a piano, is good, particularly in the transition between the first chorus and second verse. I can happily sing more takes of the vocals if need be. I just needed to put this up here and get some feedback before proceeding any further.
