💀
-I began working on this song  in Mexico in January of 2017 by building around a sample sent to me by Sleepy Todd. You can hear the sample in the chorus.
- When I first started I just recorded nonsense words, that I slowly translated into actual lyrics about a ghost story a taxi cab driver told me.  Sir Francis Drake’s brother kidnapped a local Princess and she dove off his ship in a storm, swam to shore, and hid in the jungle.  When Drake’s men came to shore to look for her after the storm she one by one slit their throats, including the throat of the ship’s priest.  She still haunts Puerto Escondido today according to the taxi cab driver.
-I recorded the lyrics in Ypsilanti, Michigan in the fall of 2017.
-Eric edited my original drum, and accompanying tracks, and added some percussion.
-Eric added sample of a late night party where Dan Coakley jumped out of a cloaked piano and said he wasn’t a ghost.
